02 / The heart behind the voice

Rooted in faith.
Made to reach you.

There are voices you hear. And there are voices you feel.

Raised in Saginaw, Michigan, Jessica Reedy began singing in church as a child. Her journey brought her to the national stage on BET’s Sunday Best in 2009, where she finished as first runner-up.

From her debut, From the Heart, to Transparent and the music that followed, her unmistakable lower register carries a message of faith, hope, and the courage to keep going.

Every note, a little more heart.
